Scholarship Program Application 

Please have the following documents ready to upload in PDF format at the end of this form:

  • High School transcript
  • Letter of acceptance from a college or trade school.
  • 2 letters of recommendation from a non-family member at your church, school, employer, or community organization.
  • Original 500-word essay (typed, double-spaced, 12 point font--no longer than 2 pages please) on the following topic:  "What are your career aspirations and how do they relate to the credit union's mission of helping people 'accomplish great things'?"

    • I understand that I am applying for a one-time, non-renewable scholarship from Downriver Community Federal Credit Union.  All information included in the Scholarship Application is true and the answers provided are an accurate representation of my experience, skills, and abilities. Selection of the winners will be made by the Scholarship Committee based on a combination of both objective criteria (academic performance: GPA/ACT/SAT) and subjective criteria (written essay--including content, grammar, punctuation, and spelling--and community involvement).
