Photo Submission Terms

By submitting a photograph, you certify that you are the original creator and copyright owner of the image and that you have the legal right to submit it for this contest.

Photographers retain ownership and copyright of their submitted photographs.

By participating in the Downriver Community Photo Contest, you grant Downriver Community Federal Credit Union ("Downriver CU") a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and promote the submitted photograph in any media format, including but not limited to calendars, websites, social media, branch displays, exhibits, advertisements, press releases, and other marketing or promotional materials.

Downriver CU reserves the right to crop, resize, edit, or otherwise adapt submitted photographs for publication or promotional purposes.

Photographs containing recognizable individuals may be deemed ineligible for contest consideration and publication.

Any photograph containing a professional photographer's watermark will be ineligible for prize consideration or calendar selection until a watermark-free version is provided.

Downriver CU will make reasonable efforts to provide photographer attribution when practical; however, attribution may not be included in all uses.
