Free Car Wash Fridays

Would you like to keep your car looking great all summer long?  Downriver CU will be hosting a FREE CAR WASH on select Fridays throughout Summer 2026, weather permitting, as a way to help local senior high schools raise funds for their various classes, teams, or other groups. Please note that these are "FREE" car washes but donations will be encouraged to help with each fundraiser.

Car washes will be held at our Southgate Office located at 15261 Trenton Rd., just south of Eureka Rd. 

Here are the dates for our 2026 Free Car Wash Fridays and the schools who have been scheduled to participate: 

• Friday, June 19 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Allen Park HS Class of 2029 Student Council
• Friday, June 26 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Wyandotte Color Guard
• Friday, July 3 - No Car Wash Today 
• Friday, July 10 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Allen Park Band Boosters
• Friday, July 17  from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Wyandotte Swimming & Diving
• Friday, July 24 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Southgate Anderson Cheer
• Friday, July 31 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Southgate Marching Band
• Friday, August 7 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Allen Park HS Girls Soccer Program
• Friday, August 14 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Lincoln Park HS Marching Band
• Friday, August 21 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Southgate Anderson HS Varsity Swim
• Friday, August 28 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Dance Avenue Competition Team

* Weather cancellations will be displayed on this page as necessary, so please be sure to check back on the day of each car wash if the weather is questionable!
