Job Openings: Part-Time Teller

Duties:

We are seeking a trustworthy, friendly, and courteous individual, who loves helping people, to join our team as a Part-Time Teller. Since you would be the face of the credit union to our members, a smiling, happy demeanor is a must. Not only would you need to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude, but you should have the ability to effectively deal with and communicate with people. An aptitude for accuracy and the ability to develop efficient cash-handling skills is important. Must be familiar with computers and business machines.  Must be familiar with credit union products and services and be able to identify member’s needs and cross-sell credit union products.        

Duties:                 

• Ascertain member needs and recommend a product or service to meet those needs.
• Process a variety of transactions for our members in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer.
• Perform clerical tasks and use a variety of equipment necessary to the delivery of services to members.
• Cooperate with staff in other areas to assure proper handling of work routines.
• Provide general information on services.
• Attend educational and other conferences as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School graduate.
• Have reliable transportation, as travel between branch locations will be required.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
